Brooklyn Community Board 8 will hold a public hearing on the New York City School Construction Authority's plans to create a primary and intermediate school within District 13. The school is to be housed in a building to be constructed as part of the Atlantic Yards project, located at the northeast corner of Dean Street and Sixth Avenue. The school is expected to occupy 100,000 square feet of space in the building, known as B15, and will have capacity for 616 seats.
A public notice from the NYC SCA is here. Comments on the plan may be submitted to the SCA until June 29 by email to sites@nycsca.org.
