The 78th Precinct is responsible for policing Prospect Heights west of Vanderbilt Avenue. The 78th Precinct Community Council is an informal monthly meeting for all citizens and police officials to exchange mutual views and seek ways to solve local problems. Join your neighbors to discuss quality of life issues, complain about local NYPD issues (dangerous intersections, crime, etc.) learn about the NYPD's latest crime and traffic enforcement efforts, and get to know your local police officers. The meeting is run by local volunteers.
