Community Board No. 8 Brooklyn is seeking a qualified individual to fill the position of District Manger.
Candidates must possess a Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and two years of full-time satisfactory experience in community work, public administration or planning or related fields, or public information or relations, of which one year must have been in a supervisory or administrative capacity. Salary is commensurate with experience plus benefits.
Responsibilities will include but is not limited to: conducting needs assessments on behalf of Community District 8, working with the Board to formulate and develop policies on behalf of the district. Working with members of the Board, elected and appointed officials on budget priorities for the district, capital projects and district development projects.
Candidates must possess excellent managerial skills, oral, written and interpersonal skills, as well as be computer literate.
