Bulletin delivery problems for Verizon, AOL and Yahoo customers
Posted: October 3, 2021 - 8:44am

We have become aware that people subscribing to our bulletin email with Verizon, AOL or Yahoo email addresses are having delivery blocked by their mail servers. Mail servers for all three ISPs are operated by Verizon. The rejected emails, in turn, cause our listserv to disable the subscribers' subscriptions.

If you are one of these Verizon, AOL or Yahoo customers, you may receive an email from our bulletin listserv (named PHNDC-discuss) with a cryptic subject line such as "confirm cca760e0a17d06c020a597f88d7cf105895cxx77" and message,

"Your membership in the mailing list PHNDC-discuss has been disabled due to excessive bounces The last bounce received from you was dated [__]. You will not get any more messages from this list until you re-enable your membership."

Several subscribers have contacted us asking if this email is genuine. It is. You may follow the link provided and re-enable your subscription. However, it is likely your email provider will once again block our bulletin.

We regret the inconvenience, and are working on a solution to this problem. Please stay tuned. In the meantime, consider following us on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. You may also want to contact customer support at Verizon, AOL, or Yahoo.

Thank you.
