Description:

A public hearing will be held to consider (a) the Modified General Project Plan ("MGPP") for the Atlantic Yards Land Use Improvement and Civic Project (the "Project"); and (b) the disposition of certain parcels of real property in connection with the Project, including (i) proposed leases, with options to purchase, to affiliates of Forest City Ratner Companies (together with its successors and permitted assigns, "FCRC"); (ii) the proposed conveyance of the below-grade portions of two parcels of land to the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (the "MTA"); and (iii) the proposed conveyance of open space to a not-for-profit organization (the "Conservancy"). Interested persons are invited to present their comments on the proposed MGPP and the proposed dispositions and leases at the meeting orally or in writing. In an effort to give all speakers an opportunity to be heard, speakers will be asked to limit their comments to three (3) minutes in duration. No limit will be placed on written statements submitted at the hearing. There will be a post-hearing comment period for thirty (30) days immediately following the public hearing, during which time interested persons may submit written comments directly to ESDC at 633 Third Avenue, New York, New York 10017, Attention: Steven Matlin, Senior Counsel. Comments submitted at the public hearing and during the post-hearing comment period will be considered by ESDC before final action is taken on the MGPP and the proposed leases and sales.

The hearing will take place on July 29 and July 30 in two sessions each day, from 2:00PM to 5:00PM, and then 6:00PM to 8:00PM.
