On Wednesday, February 13, the PS9 PTO will host a town hall meeting from 6:00-7:30 to discuss renaming the school in honor of Sarah Smith Garnet, the first African-American woman principal in New York State and founder of the first African-American women's suffrage society. The meeting will take place at PS9, 80 Underhill Avenue.
