On Sunday, June 11, 2017, from 11:00 AM to 3 PM, a festive gathering of Brooklynites, as well as international and domestic cultural enthusiasts, converge along Eastern Parkway between Flatbush and Washington avenues, which serves as the campus for some of Brooklyn’s most iconic cultural institutions, including the Brooklyn Public Library, the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, and the Brooklyn Museum, to partake in the sights and sounds of the best artistic expressions the borough has to offer.

In keeping with the family-friendly theme of the day, children will be invited to engage in the Brooklyn Botanic Garden’s Discovery Garden workshop, and the Brooklyn Museum will provide arts and crafts for all ages in its plaza area. The Children’s Village, located at Dr. Ronald E. McNair Park along Washington Avenue, will be back by popular demand, providing the backdrop for face-painting, rock climbing, bouncy houses and more for the children, as well as ice cream tasting, designed to satisfy the young in age as well as the young at heart as they indulge in a universally popular heat-beating treat.
