In honor of President Obama’s National Day of Service and Remembrance, Congresswoman Clarke is hosting the first ever “Green the Block” Service Day Event.
This day will be dedicated to remembering those that lost their lives in September 11th attacks and honoring them by committing ourselves to a Call to Action and Service in our community.
If you are under the age of 18 we need you to bring with you a permission slip allowing you to participate in the event.
Also, please come prepared to get dirty! You will be working on outdoor activities, including tree bed work and art activities!
You must RSVP beforehand as space is limited. Please call (718) 287-1142 and ask for Latrice or Deanna.
