For Prospect Heights residents interested in restoring historical homes and buildings, Brownstoner is sponsoring Salvage Fest, a multi-dealer market for architectural salvage. On Saturday, September 8 (rain date: September 9), the folks from Moon River Chattel, Demolition Depot, Black Dog Salvage, Build It Green, Eddie's, the newly-enrolled Old Soul Architectural Salvage and Reclaimed Home will be setting up shop in the P.S. 11 school yard in Clinton Hill. Rich Ellis, publisher of the Architectural Salvage News will also be holding court. The range of items will include everything from doorknobs to sconces to sinks to reclaimed flooring.
