Description:

Through Community Parks Initiative (CPI) kicking off this month, the NYC Department of Parks & Recreation is investing more resources- money, staff, recreational programming, and community partnership building- in parks in communities that need it the most. NYC Parks will spend $130 million to rebuild 35 community parks, including 6 parks in Brooklyn. One of those parks is Stroud Playground, on Park Place between Washington and Classon Avenues.

NYC Parks will be holding a public scoping meeting for the design of Stroud Playground. It invites community members to attend this scope meeting to provide community input and feedback on local needs and your ideas on Stroud Playground can better serve the neighborhood.

Please email emily.sherrod@parks.nyc.gov to RSVP for the Stroud Playground scope meeting.

General public (RSVP required)
