New high school to open in District 13 office

A new charter high school, The Academy for Health Careers, will be opening this September in the District 13 office on the corner of Park Place and Underhill Avenue. The school will phase in this year with approximately 100 ninth grade students. The District 13 location is intended to be a one-year, interim site while the school awaits renovation of another building in District 19. The administrative offices for the district will remain in the same building.
